When you’ve removed the stain completely, just rinse the carpet with clean water. Make sure that there is no trace of the carpet cleaning solution as well. When you’re done, don’t cover your floor immediately with the carpet. Hang it somewhere to dry properly (on the balcony for instance). This will prevent the manifestation of mold.
